Invoice Collection
| (a) |
Any size/volume of accounts accepted. All that is required is a copy of the Aged Debtors Listing each month (by email or hard copy), statements to be emailed (where possible) and any background information supplied i.e. any reason as to why any particular invoice has not been passed, any special arrangements made with the customer i.e. extended credit terms etc. |
| (b) |
Client’s customers will be contacted by telephone, email and by postal correspondence where necessary. First contact will be to ensure that amounts outstanding are corresponding with customer’s ledger i.e. any pending credit notes/queries to be dealt with. |
| (c) |
SDCCS must be notified immediately of any payments received, or what the Client would consider satisfactory agreements between the Client and the Debtor in order to avoid a double up of contact where payment has been made. |
| (d) |
A written progress report will be forwarded on to the client on a regular basis. |
Any queries on invoices to your Customers will need to be dealt with promptly as this will only delay the payment even longer. It is important that credit notes are issued as soon as relevant issues arise, ensure the invoice is passed in time for payment schedules. Late credit notes will result in the invoice in question being held until the next payment schedule, perhaps in the following month. This may be costly for you where you are depending on an incoming payment for cash flow purposes/paying a supplier.
